Prayer
Prayer is how we talk to God, hear God, and see things change in our lives and in our world. It’s the power at the heart of any church family and takes many forms in the life of our church family.
Our prayer ministry team (led by Andy Young) is available after our Sunday services for confidential, personal prayer and support for anyone who asks. This could be in response to the sermon or for physical healing, help with personal struggles, spiritual encouragement or simply to be blessed with the presence of God.
We have a monthly church-wide prayer meeting and life-groups pray regularly. During Lent and Advent we sometimes have special prayer events and we participate in the national week of prayer and the Anglican “Thy Kingdom Come” initiative. We also have a prayer request sheet updated live through a link on ChurchSuite, and available in the notice sheet each Sunday.
In addition, individual private prayer is available for up to five sessions (led by Lorriane Gibbard), and also as part of the wider work of the Pastoral Team (led by Pete Jorysz). To ask for a personal prayer appointment please contact Lorriane Gibbard or Andy Young.
