Pastoral Care is one of the ways  which we “love another” as a church family. Much of that work is done naturally and relationally through church groups and friendships. But sometimes people need a bit of extra support or help.

We want everyone to be able to access pastoral care and to help that we set up a Pastoral Team in March 2025 meeting fortnightly, to discuss how best to support people and to pray for them. Church members can refer themselves to the Pastoral Team, or approach the team if they are concerned about someone else.

Any member of the Pastoral Team can be contacted for names to be brought to the fortnightly meetings and help offered outside those meetings. This will usually take the form of one of more meetings, normally in the church building to get alongside folk, listen well, encourage and support and pray for the person. The team can also signpost people to various individuals or organisations where more practical help is needed. Conversation and follow ups will be strictly confidential.

The team is led by Pete Jorysz (Pastoral Coordinator), plus Lorraine Gibbard (Prayer Ministry Team Coordinator), Wendy Livingstone, Janet Sullivan, Samantha Vyner Brookes, Katharine Gray, Teresa Onions, Celia Haddon, Breda King, Ramin Salehi and Jan Sutcliffe.
